WHAT ARE THE ALLERGENS THAT MAY BE PRESENT IN THE PRODUCTS?

The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) considers that the main food allergens are: milk, wheat, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustaceans and soy. DO YOU MAKE ANY VEGAN ITEMS?

Our products are made with ingredients of animal origin, such as: milk, egg, hydrogenated lard, butter.

HOW DO I KEEP MY PURCHASES FRESH?

Store (bread and/or cookies) in a dry environment, in a bread basket or bag made of permeable materials, such as paper and cloth. If you store them in plastic bags, they can stay soft longer, but with a leathery crust. Bread and cookies last approximately ten days and then you have to put them in the fridge, desserts always in the fridge.

DO YOU OFFER GLUTEN FREE ITEMS?

When making sourdough bread, you have to think that it will take a long time and that factor also breaks down the gluten to convert it into amino acids. Something very good for people sensitive to this component.

IS SOURDOUGH BREAD FATTENING?

Perhaps many people avoid eating bread because they have problems with their weight, it is evident that industrial white bread generates this type of problem - especially in those who have problems with their metabolism - due to its high glycemic content; however, in sourdough bread, this scenario does not exist.

DO PRODUCTS MADE WITH SOURDOUGH REALLY NOURISH?

The composition of sourdough is so complex that it contains many nutrients. These include vitamins B1 through B6, B12, folate, thiamin, niacin, riboflavin, vitamin E, iron, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, zinc, and potassium. In addition, it also has an incredible balance of proteins and fatty acids. This is in stark contrast to bulk products that retain a minute fraction of the original nutrient after the entire process.

WHAT IS SOURDOUGH AND WHY IS IT BENEFICIAL?

Sourdough bread is made with a type of ferment made up of flour and water, which gives the bread unique flavors, since its process and the aromas that are generated end up controlling the acidity.
